Very good service. Good but pricey food. Vibe of a country club restaurant, which essentially it is, being connected to golf club

Very pricey for what you are getting, even by Disney standards. Room acoustics make it so you can't have a conversation. Oddly located. Food was good but there are better choices for less money. The biggest thumbs down came in the form of service, which was very slow, though we came at a time that was not busy.

Have stayed at Saratoga Springs many times over the years, but had never been to this restaurant before. I don't know if it's new, or if they are marketing it better, or if I was just oblivious before, but I'm glad we've discovered it. We were planning on walking to Downtown Disney for a meal, but we had no reservations anywhere, it was prime dining time, we knew there would be a wait, and we were starving. So when we (finally) noticed the Turf Club we checked the menu and decided to try it. No reservations? No problem. The place is large and we were seated right away. I started with the Butternut Squash soup. A slightly sweeter version then I'm used to, but nice all the same and a decent portion. My DH had the spicy fettuccine with shrimp and I had the same thing, but with chicken. Both were just delicious. The pasta was perfectly cooked for me, just al dente enough, the vegetables were fresh, and it was just spicy enough. More peppery than heat, which I like. My DH liked the shrimp. My chicken breast was perfectly cooked and nicely cubed so it was easy to eat, no knife required. We got a 10% discount for being DVC members. The total cost to us, including tip, was the same we had paid at Chevy's Fresh Mex the night before, and much less than most places at Downtown Disney. Considering the cost, no wait time, a relaxed, calm atmosphere, and delicious food, we will definitely be back. After our meal we did continue our walk to and through Downtown Disney, with happy tummies all the way

Got back from a long day at Magic Kingdom and decided I wanted a nice quiet dinner in my room. So went to The Turf Club Bar & Grill to order something to take back to my room. The host told me in a rather snobbish way that "we do not do take out orders at our restaurant." Rather put off by how I was talked to and that a restaurant can't or won't make up some food and pack it in to go box, I took a step back to figure out my next steps. I was hungry...it was late....I don't have a car to just go somewhere else to get food... While contemplating my next steps, a lady that worked in the restaurant walked out to talk to me. She had overheard my conversation with the host. Turns out you can order items to go off of their appetizer and desert menu, you just have to do it at the bar (a whopping 5 feet from the host/hostess stand). Go figure, I was only planning on getting items off of both of those categories as it was to late for a full entree anyways. I got the Baked Brie and the Chef's Special Salad. I enjoyed both and would get them again if I was in the same situation or was looking for something light to eat. The Baked Brie came in a puff pastry with prosciutto on top with some sort of raspberry sauce to put on top and a small arugula salad. The Turf Club Bar & Grill would have gotten 4 stars from me if the host didn't treat me like he did. Perhaps there will be a next time where my service experience is better so I can give them 4 stars. Until then, 3 will have to do. PS - The bartender that helped me with my order, he was awesome!

Don't waste your money here. I ordered my appetizers about 15 mins prior to putting our entrees in and everything still came out at the same time. I didn't get a chance to tell the runner from the kitchen that we just got our apps. He shoved my soup over to the side to sit my steak down and ran off. It took at least another 10-15 mins to wave our waitress down and let her know we received everything at the same time. Her response was "Oops that's weird, do you want me to sit the steaks under the heat lamp to stay warm?" I was in shock so I asked for a manager. It took 15 mins to get a manager to come out to the table. The manager was standing at the front of the restaurant socializing with her other workers. When she finally did come back to our table she was extremely rude and basically told us it was our waitresses fault and she knows the food is prepared very quickly and should of waited to put it in. She asked me if I wanted my food to sit under a heat lamp as well. I told her no thanks we are now done with our apps so I guess we just eat our food that has been sitting here? She smiled, shrugged her shoulders and walked away. No apology, no offering to give us a comp on the soup and onion rings, and no offer of a free dessert or anything. I wish I knew the women's name but I was in complete shock and embarrassed at how she just stood there blaming the waitress with no apology to us. She had short brown hair and was heavy set. One of the rudest Disney employees I have ever met. Not to mention she didn't even offer to take our empty dishes out of the way as we clearly were crammed sitting at a two seater table with two appetizers and two plates including a bread basket and empty glasses. We had to ask the waitress twice to remove the plates and her response was I'll be back in a few. I love Disney and renew my annual pass every year. This unfortunately puts a terrible taste in my mouth. Way to treat your guests Disney, you will be seeing a lot less of us. Should of listened to the reviews.

I love Saratoga Springs, NY. I was stationed there 3 times and been to the racetrack several times so coming here to the Turf Club did bring some good memories of the real Saratoga. The Turf Club does have some pretty neat jockey paraphernalia on the walls. But other than that, all other amenities including the food and the service was just sub-par. My server for the evening was just lost and clueless. My food for the evening was just plain awful. The pasta I ordered was like ordering pasta mixed with extra butter sauce, and that's it. And as for dessert, the cheesecake tasted stale. So besides the jockey stuff, and the great views of the surrounding lakes and golf courses at the SP Spa and Resort, this "Turf Club" isn't at all that special.

It could be better. Steak was over cooked. We sent it back. Calamari appetizer was tough as well. Service was horrible lots of left over drinks glasses on the table. Worst part server had a trainer pin! As a person who frequents the Disney restaurants there are others that are better. The menu is average at best. The only reason I would come is to have a drink or app after a round of golf. Go to Olivia's, Sanaa, or anything else.

It's really hard to have the energy to enumerate the fails of this restaurant. Generally speaking: unprofessional service; poor food execution; incompetent management; lack of ambiance. Save your money.

Slooooooooow service be prepared to wait! Food was acceptable we had French onion soup, kids chicken noodle, Caesar salad and two orders of the lamb chops. The Caesar was unique they used balsamic drizzle. Chicken soup didn't have much broth but off kids menu. French onion soup was good. Lamb chops very dainty but tasteful.

Best service I have had in a long time. It's very rare these days to have service like we had tonight. Our waiter Max was fantastic. Food was great as well. Great dining experience all around.

Pretty good food. There wasnt anything super special about it but, it tasted good and was a good portion size. The restaurant itself was in good condition but didnt offer any nice views, artwork, etc. Our waitress was on the bland side. She seemed to go through the motions. Overall, the cost of our meals would have been better spent elsewhere on Disney property.

Great staff. Very accommodating and the entrees were great! The chocolate dessert... Decadent!

We used to frequent Turf Club quite a bit for lunch - but they recently stopped lunch. And to top it off, they took their best thing off the menu...the burger. It's hard to believe, I know. But everyone that's had it that I know has loved it. I have a feeling they'll be losing business because of it (I know we won't be going as much, if at all.) Besides that stuff above, the food is alright. It's better than park food that's for sure, but I'd prefer Jiko or The Wave.

Not much to say. It was a lunch during work and the food was average. Hard to compare with such good food that resides inside Epcot, but it's also not fair to compare. I don't even remember which fish I tried, but I did have some and it wasn't anything to speak about. The fried calimari, nothing much to say about it either.

Great service. The waitress accommodated my 3 year old even when she was not on her best behavior. The food was excellent, and we'd recommend it to anyone staying at Saratoga Springs.

They told me it would be a one and a half hour wait for a table of 8. (I think the hostess didn't want another table at 8:00 PM as they close at 10 PM. They gave me a beeper and my group raided the Disney gift shop. Thirty minutes later we were seated. The salmon was delicious. The calamari appetizer was great. Bottomless pomogrante lemonade kept me hydrated too. A good dining experience. Service was good. Hostess wasn't very inviting.

My hopes were too high... Don't get me wrong the food was great. The service was great.. Just not over the top, I previously had close to the same meal at the Wave in the contemporary and it was soo much better. Now as for the location and setting fantastic! Loved every bit of the seating arrangement.

OK let me first say do not let my 3 star rating of this place keep you from going. The food and service is excellent however my only gripe is very simple. Its so simple for them to fix that I had to rate them at three stars. At first look this place is typical of a golf course club house up scale dining room. The prices for the items such as prime rib and steaks are on par with what one would find at a high end join t off Disney property. The quality of the main dishes and 90% of the sides and appetizers are excellent. The one issue was their starchy sides that are pureed. The mashed potatoes, polenta, grits and other similar items all had that "sitting on the plate ahead of time and reheated crust on the top" which really was a shame. The taste of these sides were amazing and sophisticated and really only missed a fresher, just put from the pot to the plate look and feel. Every time I ate there and with each order placed at our table that had this kind of item it was noticed. If they could change that one thing it would easily be a 5 star rating. Again, aside from that the place is excellent but with such high standards met in 90% of the other items missing this one is extremely noticeable.

The service was fine but the food was very disappointing. The kids meals were gross, the adult meals were a cut below average at very high prices (although not that high for Disney I guess).

Ok, so it took us THREE times to get into this place. Yeah, the NY strip was good - um, but with nonexistent sides. I'm not a fan of this place and think it's a shame that this is the only restaurant on the resort. This is such a wonderful resort and the food/service here does not live up to the rest of the place. I was deeply disappointed. If you get a chance, skip this place and head on out to Downtown Disney. The restaurants are much better and THEY HAVE TAKE OUT!!

Jack & I took a little side trip to the Saratoga Springs Resort yesterday to try out this eatery. The atmosphere is pleasant with an equestrian theme. Jack had crab cakes as a starter. He liked them; I found them a little boring. My tomato bisque with goat cheese was plenty of food and came with a ton of thin slices of toasted baguette. Jack had the reuben sandwich for his main course. I had the steak sandwich. Both were decent. Service was very friendly though relatively slow--and that's coming from someone who likes three hour lunches!

Had an excellent dinner at the Turf Club. My wife had the pork chop, which was huge and cooked perfectly - very moist and tender. I had the fish of the day, which was tilefish, and it was great. The fish came to the table really hot, which is hard to do with almost any fish. Service was excellent. Attentive but not hovering. Prices were fair for what we got. My only beef about this and all the restaurants at Disney World is their insane automated, centralized reservation system. I tried to book a reservation for 6:15pm on a non-holiday Monday. The only times offered were 5:20 or 8pm. Since we were staying at Saratoga Springs, we decided to show up anyway at 6:15. The place was practically empty. I asked the manager why this was so. He explained that people double and triple book reservations and then just go to whichever restaurant they happen to be closest to at the end of their Disney day, never bothering to cancel the other reservations. If I hadn't been staying right there, I would not have gone to this restaurant based on the reservation system. How much business must they lose due to this idiotic system?

We visited here after it was strongly recommended to us by friends who live close to Disney. We made reservations and arrived at the beautiful Saratoga Springs Property on time for our meal. The appetizers and entrees were absolutely delicious. I had the "Crab Cakes" for an appetizer and the "Surf and Turf Burger" for my entree and both were incredible. They also have a typical Disney kids menu available. The service was great too. The tables were large and all of the cast members were very accommodating to our toddler that was eating with us. We were not on the dining plan so the bill was definitely a bit more than what you would pay for a character meal, but it was money well spent. We cannot wait to come back here again.

Pretty pricey, but good portions. I shared an order of mussels as an appetizer, which were pretty good. For the main dish, I had the shrimp pasta, which was mediocre; pretty bland and not enough flavour. I felt like I could've made the same thing at home without the high price.

Very proud of their signature salad. Their version of a cesear salad. Presentation is fantastic. Taste, overly basalmic. It was ok for a restaurant of this caliber. My strip was very good. Sons prime rib was a tad tough. Overall. Very good and expensive

This place was a real find. Had the best meal of my week at WDW. Prices reasonable for the World, as well. Had the Lamb Chops, which were probably the best I've ever had. Great margaritas too!!

Times like this I wish I had a hate button. First of all punching you in the face while smiling is even more insulting. Giving absolute horrible service while smiling is the same. We have been here a few times because my close relatives stay and have been spending large amounts of money at Disney Vacation Club for 20 years. You would think Disney would show some appreciation. THINK AGAIN. Heres the bulletin so I dont freak out Only table in the restaurant, 4 staff lounging at the front. 20 minutes to get water, 30 to get drinks. I got neither 45 minutes for food. Asked for Water Again, No ice. No Lemon. Got both. Order, Burger With Fries Rare, Get burger with Slaw Well done. 10 minutes no waiter 10 more minutes I carry my burger to the kitchen, ask for it to be recooked. 10 minutes later someone comes and takes my old burger Everyone finishes there meal. Plates sit there with empty glasses 10 minutes later I stand up to go ask them to take it back. My family tells me to eat (they are too nice) I do but of course no one asks to make sure it is cooked properly. Most places that charge $14 for a burger do. Still no water and its 99 degrees out and I see staff just standing at the front. Dont clear our plates but bring the check. Of course they added gratuity. 2.5 hours later the manager comes out and asks how everything is. not even worth it... TYPICAL DISNEY.....continually giving Orlando a bad name. Here is the worst part. This was the second time this happened. DONT GO HERE.

So we check into our room at the Saratoga Springs & Resort, unpack, unwind and don't feel like traveling anywhere to eat dinner our first night. Checked out the menu at Artist's Palate and didn't feel like eating counter style food so we went next door to Turf Club. Me, I didn't feel like eating anything too heavy so, I went with the Caesar Salad and the Linguine with Shrimp. The salad came with the components together but the lettuce was whole romaine spears. After I cut them up into bite size pieces and mixed the rest of the salad, it was pretty tasty. The linguine was easy with the alfredo sauce, but lacked any real flavor. The shrimp was on the small size and again not too much flavor. Tried to kick it up with some salt and pepper, but didn't help too much. Maybe the taste buds were affected by the five hour flight but the great service (especially with the four kids in our party) boosts up my opinion of The Turf Club.

Great Lunch Location :-) The Surf and Turf Burger is delicious and the Ruben is amazing. Everything is made to order...nothing sits under heat lamps which is why it takes a little longer to get your food, but it is totally worth it. This is Saratoga Spring's table service location so if you are coming for dinner, definitely make a reservation, but it isn't ever tooooo busy at lunch time.

The food here is much better than the Artist's Palatte, but of course it much more expensive. The waitstaff provides excellent service. I expected the other patrons to be nicely dressed or in golfing attire but most were dressed like me: shorts and a short sleeve shirt.

I strongly recommend the Turf Club for a drink and a snack after a round of golf at Lake Buena Vista. My dad and I usually go here and have a beer and a couple of appetizers after the round. We went this past Wednesday (3/10) and we got three plates: calamari, onion rings, and crab cakes. The onion rings are by far the highlight of the appetizer selection. They come with two very flavorful dipping sauces - one sweet, one hot. (There used to be a third, but apparently they do not serve it anymore.) The calamari was very good, as it was deep-fried and had just the right amount of saltiness. Plus, it had a nice marinara-style dipping sauce. The crab cakes were not the best that I have had, as they were almost like deep-fried bread-colored hockey pucks on the outside, but they were good enough on the inside. Service was to Disney's standards - prompt, courteous, and efficient. Saratoga Springs at WDW has plenty of choices for the post-golf drink and snack. I would recommend the Turf Club over the Artist's Palette for patio dining and the quality of their appetizers.

Our food was excellent and it was easy to dine here with 4 young children. My only concern is that our waiter did not know how to service a bottle of wine. He showed the bottle to my husband and then basically dumped the wine into 4 glasses. Only 3 people were drinking the wine. It was embarrassing to our friends as we treated them to this restaurant and the service was mediocre.

went out of our way to get over to this hotel to The Turf Club. food was good but i do not understand why they would take a 9.00 reservation if the servers wanted to be out by 9:30 our waitress basically told us she wanted to leave so can we order. Disney needs to step in and revamp the service at this restaurant. Even when we arrived the hostess stand was closed for the night! 9:00 reservation was all they had when we called so they should really honor there late reservations with a little more respect.

Joined family who were staying at the beautiful Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort last Saturday night. We asked the staff in the pool area "where is a good restaurant here other than the traditional Downtown Disney fare?" The gentleman pointed to the top of the hill behind the pool and said "The Turf Club is excellent!" We got right in... at first I was surprised with the fairly limited menu you would expect from a top Disney resort... The food was okay... not as over priced as the Downtown Disney venues... but the service was what was so surprising... and poor. We never seemed to know who our server was due to having so many people come by to help... the most attentive server was one other than our own (the gal who took our order), and it seemed he was trying to help all tables due to the others lack of attention... and then when you wanted a server to come and a table of five actively looking around waiting to be noticed - they just walked on by. I agree with another review here that around the 9pm hour, the staff is purely focused on doing their side work and getting out of dodge... leaving us with unfilled glasses of our beverages of choice, even the water and we were seated around 8pm... and leaving us with dishes for at least a half an hour. It became funny to try to stack them in different places on the end of the table to get their attention to notice and remove them even as the restaurant emptied... until I finally asked to have them removed by actively flagging down a staffer to remove the dishes and bring our check... Everyone was friendly... food was okay... but not sure who is leading the service staff. You'd be better served pretty much anywhere you go... Reasonably priced. One steak had to be returned due to not being cooked as ordered.

After a great week at Saratoga Springs, we decided to use the last meal of our dining plan at the Turf Club before heading to the airport. What a mistake! The service was very slow, and we even had to wait several minutes for a table despite there being about five waiters on staff and only a few other guests. I ordered a chicken sandwich, which came with balsamic dressing, greens, and goat cheese on top. An interesting combination to be sure, but unfortunately the execution was terrible. The chicken was WAY overcooked, and the balsamic dressing was much too strong. You can imagine our disappointment when it took over an hour to get such unsatisfying food. Overall I wish we had just gone to Chick-Fil-A instead.

I had lunch here and it was easy to walk right in on a Friday. I took the boat from Downtown Disney. I tried the crabcakes, which were breaded and just ok. My entree was the salmon, which they cook medium-rare, which I had never had quite that way and found it odd but kind of light. For dessert, the fresh berries were a nice finish on a hot day. The staff was very friendly. Like all Disney restaurants, its pricey but you're paying for the overall experience. And if you can, make reservations in advance.
